    Thank you for everything! I truly have had an unforgettable experience here over the last month. I have been so well taken care of! A great deal of the reason i love this program so much is because i feel like the you two truly care so much about each individual volunteer and that shows! I loved the house , my classes, my placement, and i LOVED my fellow volunteers. Ill miss the weekend trips and ice cream at lapalapa, and the amazing torta stand. Ill miss the culture, the food, the kids at Fundación Emmanuel and the opportunity to create such amazing memories and meet so many beautiful people. If you're reading this and are a volunteer, i hope you've loved it as much as i have. If you haven't, get your butt in gear because this is a great place to be. So many great things and people are waiting for ya!

  • “Muchas Gracias!”

    What a great time those 3 weeks have been in Merida! Teaching English at Serapio was super fun, the kids have endless love and hugs! At times challenging due to my lack of Spanish, yet so rewarding! I Would definitely love to go back. The girls at casa crisal are so sweet and eager to learn. It was a real pleasure to teach them! I loved it! The Spanish lessons were the best choice ever! All of the teachers are so kind, fun and supper patient with my slow learning of the language. The institute of modern Spanish is a great place. Ill return one day! Thank you so much to Miguel, Janese and their lovely family for the incredible hospitality! They are such a welcoming and amazing family to live with. This whole experience was amazing! Everyone is so supportive and kind! thank you!

    6 weeks volunteering in Mexico was amazing. Id only experienced norther Mexico so it was amazing to see Yucatan, Thank you so much Miguel for everything. You didn’t need to hang out with the volunteers, but the fact that you did made a huge difference and impact on me. A huge thank you to your family, Janese and your children for. for opening your home to me and the Institute of modern Spanish staff as well.
